Man at the Crossroads

"Man at the Crossroads" by Diego Rivera was destroyed on Feb. 9, 1934 on orders from Nelson Rockefeller. Rivera later repainted it at the Palacio de Bella Artes in Mexico City.

Welcome to the Museum of Destroyed Art

This site is dedicated to all artwork that has been completely, utterly, destroyed.

Please send a photo documentation of the destroyed artwork and a very brief explanation of how it was destroyed.
